Days like today make all the blood and sweat (often literally) over the past 6 months feel like it's been worth it. Taricha and I jumped in the van with my sister and her kids to head to the park. We'd been to this park many times before but never had it been such a bustle. Taricha chilled with me when I wanted to chill and ran circles around the park when I wanted to run.
Tons of itty bitty children were running a muck in little squeely herds.... Taricha was highly interested at every turn in the kids, but we kept ourselves together and she listened to me... and gave in to chilling out. Distractions? What distractions! Totally. Awesome!
Cant wait to hear about everyone's doggie adventures this warming season!

ReplyDeleteEmma's not too happy with kids, the running screaming aspect terrifies her, though if they're calm and come bearing treats, they're not half bad in her book.

It sounds like you had a nice relaxing day at the park. Children are a huge distraction here, my dog Aschiuta wants to make friends with all the kids she sees.
