The Reptiles

Snakes have been a hobby of mine since I was a little kid. Truly, I was always running thru the bushes trying to catch little garter snakes and then feed them worms, squealing in delight as they swallowed them up. Or asking my parents to stop on road trips to help the turtle cross the road. From Burmese pythons at age 15, to red tail boas, carpet pythons, amazon tree boas to monitor lizards and chameleons...

Now-a-days I have a real love for the blood and short-tailed pythons. A breeding colony is starting to be established in my living room and I fully expect some nice things popping out in 2014.

Blood Pythons:
1.2 chrome headed Black Blood Pythons
1.0 black headed Black Blood Pythons
1.1 super Red Blood pythons

One of my favorite snakes are the Dumerils boas. They don't get enough attention in the snake hobby as there aren't yet a lot of 'morphs' but I find them to be really incredible looking. Not to mention one of the most docile. My pair of giants are around 6', both eating huge rats like champions. They produced beautiful babies last year and they will be going again the next coming season.

Currently the only snake with a name... hehe. Is Kelly the Surinam Red Tailed Boa. He's topping the charts now around 7ft long and nearly heavy enough that I can't life him alone. He is a big boy but so utterly gorgeous!

Thanks for looking!
And stuff!
